Is Destructive.
Anger is like a fire, and it will burn and consume everything around it. The bible says that we should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the kind of righteousness that God wants in us. It tells us not even to associate with people who become angry easily!
Now keep in mind that there is such a thing as righteous anger – this is when we are angry (just as Jesus himself was) with sin and evils such as abuse, racism, violence, murder and the like. But no matter how reprehensible these people or activities are, the bible tells us that we are not justified to sin in our response.
We should take redemptive action.
