God hates divorce.
His will is that married couples stay together, through all things – “For better or worse, richer or poorer, sickness and health.” Even through adultery. We are called to forgive each other, since we both are forgiven through Christ.
If there are problems that cannot be worked out on between yourselves with prayer and communication, then get counsel. If there is physical or mental abuse however, it may be quite necessary to part ways.
