Mankind will never be able to govern himself.
God sets up and brings down kings. Governments are human methods to try to bring order, and are necessary at this time.
Systems must have checks and balances to restrict normal (Evil) human nature. They will continue to fail until the end of time.
Note the importance of the statue in the Book of Daniel – Gold/Silver/Bronze/Iron/Iron & Clay/ Then the Rock of Christ.
Assume they are or will become evil – not good.
