Love is Action.
The opposite of love is not hate – it is indifference. More than a feeling. Love does not depend on a counteraction. We love because God loves. The greatest love is for a man to give his life for another.
Indifference does not care, does not feel. It is cold.
(Sorry Whitney Houston, but “learning to love yourself” is NOT the greatest love of all.)
The commandments are wrapped up in Love.
1) Love God, and 2) love your neighbor.
