Turn around.
To repent simply means to change your direction. But repentance can also be seen as an “opening of the eyes” to the true reality of the world you live in, and a willingness to look at your life in the perspective of the Truth. This is an understanding based on faith.
There is a greater power (God) which demands more from you. You cannot approach Him in your sinful state, but anyone who believes in the Truth – a) that man is separated from God because of sin, b) that the soul that sins shall die, c) that to die apart from God is to fall on the side of the enemy, AND, d) that the sacrifice of the Christ is salvation – will live forever.
