Is an effort in futility.
It promises influence, but just causes feelings of inferiority, jealousy, insecurity, and of course, superiority. (number of friends/connections).
The truth is that it is difficult to understand exactly how much influence one has, due to changing algorithms made up by the owners to make a profit. Ultimately, you have to pay for perceived influence. Much of what is shown is untrue or exaggerated. It may look as if everyone has things great, with wonderful families, jobs, promotions etc. but you may never understand the real situations they are in.
It is good to keep in contact with friends and colleagues.
